The entire reason that the US democracy was instituted was for the representation and voice of ALL OF THE PEOPLE. Britain released many commandments and acts that did not give representation to the people of the colonies, leading to revolts and a revolution on the basis of freedom and equality. Starting with the articles of confederation, these had the intent of giving the majority of the power to the state legislatures, for the purpose of providing the common man with a say in the decisions of the country and state and local governments. Acts not included were based off of the Stamp act, Tea act, Molasses act, etc., really any act that used taxation and prevented the colonists from being heard. Quartering act involved British soldiers being fed and provided a bed in colonists homes, these made them mad because they were not being given any representation and being assumed to be completely under control of the British crown. Back to the articles of confederation. The colonists were so bent on having power in the states, that the federal government did not have power to raise money through taxes and solve dispute issues between states. In other words, the articles were too weak. It was not until this mistake had been made that the Constitutional convention conveyed and decided to construct an all new government that is still in use today.

how could have leadership have helped the Rome Empire?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

There are many lessons to learnt from the Roman, even leadership lessons.

The Roman Empire became one of the biggest in the ancient world, spanning to include 20 per cent of the world’s population, all ruled within the boundaries of one city. At the height of its power in AD117, the Empire covered a colossal five million square kilometres.

The politics of the Empire was such that leaders would rise and fall on the strength of their decisions, connections and character. From the first emperor, Augustus Caesar, to the Empire’s last, Romulus Augustulus, it can be difficult to think how the leadership demands of the ancient world could resonate with us today.

At the Farmer's Market The farmer's market was loud, the sounds of people preparing for the day of sales echoing in the long building, as Tony and his family began unloading their products they would sell from their truck. Their booth was at the very front of the long building, at the entrance where the customers would enter. This was good for business, but Tony knew he would not get a break today. His favorite part of the farmer's market was taking time to walk up and down the rows of booths, looking at the different products people had for sale. He was already feeling frustrated with the long day ahead. "Maria and Tony, please unload the honey and bring it to the display table," Rick, Tony's father, instructed. "And please hurry up. The market opens in 15 minutes, and we aren't ready yet." Tony rolled his eyes at his father's comments, and Maria sighed heavily as she handed Tony a heavy box of the honey the family produced on their small farm. "Maybe if we weren't always late, we wouldn't have to rush," Maria whispered to her brother. "Just hurry up, please," Tony replied as he stomped off with another load of honey towards the display table. "I just want to be finished with this day." When he reached the table to set up the display of honey jars, he set the box down too quickly. The box was only partially on the table, and when he let go to open it, the box tipped and slid off the table, crashing to the ground. All the jars of honey inside were smashed to pieces. Tony's head snapped up quickly, his eyes wide with shock, and he looked at Maria, who looked back with the same expression.
