How is the final constitution different than it would
have been if you made it by yourself?

What was the most important role of government for you?

What was the least important role of government for you?

Answers

By the final constitution i'm assuming you mean the tenth amendment which is assigning all power not delegated to the United States, or prohibited to the states, to either the states or to the people.

I wouldn't have changed this because in england at that time all the power was to the king and the people didn't get to say on certain matters. Though if I had to make it I'd make it so women could vote, because back then the men get to do have all the power and it's not equal, so I would obviously include women and minorities into the people with power.

The most important role in the government for me is the president because if we have a horrible president (Donald Trump) then there's a lot of thing's that will go wrong inside the U.S, ranging from same sex marriage potentially being taken away, women's rights being in danger, ect. Having someone like that in the highest form of power over millions of people is uh- gross? You need someone who would actually care about the people and would do what's right, that's why this is the most important role.

The least important role in the government for me is the people in charge that abuse their power. Yes, this might not be a role inside the government but the fact that they keep people like this in power while knowing the abusive things they do, is disgusting.

Ack I hope this is what you're talking about, sorry it's lengthy. ^^;

Answer:

Proponents of the New South envisioned a post-Reconstruction southern economy modeled on the North’s embrace of the Industrial Revolution. Henry W. Grady, a newspaper editor in Atlanta, Georgia, coined the phrase the "New South” in 1874. He urged the South to abandon its longstanding agrarian economy for a modern economy grounded in factories, mines, and mills. Although textile mills and tobacco factories emerged in the South during this time, the plans for a New South largely failed. By 1900, per-capita income in the South was forty percent less than the national average, and rural poverty persisted across much of the South well into the twentieth century.

The  effects of Reconstruction in Georgia were Wartime damage, the inability to maintain a labor force without slavery, and miserable weather had a disastrous effect on agricultural production.

What was Reconstruction?

Reconstruction refers to the time immediately following the Civil War, from 1865 to 1877, when many US administrations attempted to rebuild society in the former Confederate states, particularly by establishing and defending the legal rights of the newly liberated black people.

Proponents of the New South anticipated a post-Reconstruction southern economy patterned on the Industrial Revolution's acceptance by the North. In 1874, Henry W. Grady, a newspaper columnist in Atlanta, Georgia, invented the phrase "New South."

He pushed the South to reject its traditional agrarian economy in favor of a modern economy based on industry, mines, and mills. Despite the establishment of textile mills and cigarette factories in the South during this period, the aspirations for a New South were mainly unsuccessful.

Which of the following is NOT true about the Portuguese slave trade?

Question options:

It began with Portuguese merchants buying slaves from the king of Benin.

Other peoples along the west coast of Africa began to sell captives to the Portuguese.

The Spanish hired Portuguese merchants to transport African slaves to the New World.

The slave trade accelerated when the Portuguese began growing sugar in Brazil.

The Portuguese continued the trans-Saharan slave trade to the Muslim world.

Answers

Answer: It began with Portuguese merchants buying slaves from the king of Benin.

Explanation: African slaves prior to 1441 were predominately Berbers and Arabs from the North African Barbary coast, known as ‘Moors” to the Iberian. They were typically enslaved during wars and conquests between Christian and Islamic kingdoms. The first expeditions of Sub-Saharan Africa were sent out by Prince Infante D. Henrique, known commonly today as Henry the Navigator, with the intent to probe how far the kingdoms of the Moors and their power reached. The expeditions sent by Henry came back with African slaves as a way to compensate for the expenses of their voyages. The enslavement of Africans was seen as a military campaign because the people that the Portuguese encountered were identified as Moorish and thus associated with Islam. The royal chronicler Gomes Eanes de Zurara was never decided on the “Moorishness” of the slaves brought back from Africa, due to a seeming lack of contact with Islam. Slavery in Portugal and the number of slaves expanded after the Portuguese began exploration of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Extra explanation: Explanation above is official recognized but there are a lot of evidence that slave trade started even 2nd century BC by the Roman Portugal and it proceded to: Visigothic and Suebi kingdoms, Islamic Iberia, and Reconquista. But she certainly didn't start with Portuguese merchants buying slaves from the king of Benin.
