First of all before i even answer, NEVER click on links that says "Click here to see the answer" BECAUSE IT IS A VIRUS OR MALWARE!

Answer:

3 Major post-war conferences were the Yalta, Tehran, and Potsdam Conferences.

Oversimplification of the Conferences:

Here is just the oversimplification of the Conferences since doing any sort of an essay is time consuming and takes effort. Lets start with:

1) The Yalta Conference

The Yalta conference did a few things that set the stages of the Cold war. It first created 4 occupations zones of Austria and Germany. The Soviets would receive East Germany and the Allies would receive Frankfurt, Kiel, Munich, and Hamburg (Pretty much just split east and west). Yalta answered some questions about Germany however the next conference would answer the rest.

2) The Potsdam Conference \ Agreement.

The Potsdam Conference went over the small details that weren't mentioned in the Yalta Conference. First of all, it discussed the military and regional government issues of Germany as well as promoting ideologies. All production of Military equipment would be banned. All soldiers of the military would be sent home, Generals and officials would be tried for in Democratic German courts. Finally, The issue of Borders would be solved in this conference. More specifically, the occupied German and Soviet occupied Polish borders.

3) The Tehran Conference

The Tehran Conference was not an agreement sort of thing held at the end of the World War, but it was held during the war in Soviet influenced Tehran  to discuss strategies and War plans to deal with the German invasion in the the Soviet Union. The conference also dealt with deciding some post-war borders as well as discussing an offensive. They also dealt with the Polish Question but that's a whole other topic and it this post would be too large if i talked about it.

What’s a civilization in Africa and Asia largely because of increased trade during the medieval period?

Answers

West Africa was one of the world's greatest producers of gold in the Middle Ages. Trade in the metal went back to antiquity but when the camel caravans of the Sahara linked North Africa to the savannah interior, the trade really took off. A succession of great African empires rose off the back of the gold trade as salt, ivory, and slaves were just some of the commodities exchanged for the precious metal that eventually found its way into most of southern Europe's gold coinage. Gold attracted unwanted attention and competition, too, with the Portuguese the first to exploit West Africa's coastal resources from the 15th century CE, and in their wake followed others. The discovery of the Americas and the gold of the Aztecs and Incas only gave West Africa a temporary respite as European colonial powers then returned to the continent as their chief source of slaves to work on the plantations of the New World. The trade of gold in West Africa goes back to antiquity with one of the earliest examples being the voyage of the Carthaginian explorer Hanno in the 5th century BCE. The celebrated mariner sailed out of the Mediterranean and, turning south, stopped off at the mouth of the Senegal River before sailing on and perhaps even reaching as far the Bay of Guinea. Hanno was followed by other countrymen, and commercial relations were established with the locals. Thus, West African gold found its way from the trading post/island of Cerne (unidentified but on the Atlantic coast) northwards to the ancient Mediterranean cultures for the first time.
The 5th-century BCE Greek historian Herodotus describes in his Histories that gold was traded on the West African coast using a silent and cautious method of barter - perhaps understandable given the language barrier and mutual fear between unfamiliar peoples. Hope this helps! Mark brainly please!

What do you mean by atomic bombs on Japan?

In August 1945, the two nuclear weapons dropped by the United States over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, killed 210,000 people, including men, women, and children.

President Truman authorized the deployment of atomic bombs in an effort to force Japan's surrender during World War II.

It was Harry Truman's decision as president to deploy the weapon in order to end the war. "We have been given an enormous responsibility," the president wrote.

The first priority, of course, was to terminate the war with Japan quickly and save American lives. The second goal, it has been alleged, was to display the new weapon of mass devastation to the Soviet Union.

Describe the progressive era in 5 sentences

Answers

Answer:

The Progressive Era (1896–1916) was a period of widespread social activism and political reform across the United States of America that spanned the 1890s to the 1920s.[1] Progressive reformers were typically middle-class society women or Christian ministers. The main objectives of the Progressive movement were addressing problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and political corruption. Social reformers were primarily middle-class citizens who targeted political machines and their bosses. By taking down these corrupt representatives in office, a further means of direct democracy would be established. They also sought regulation of monopolies (trustbusting) and corporations through antitrust laws, which were seen as a way to promote equal competition for the advantage of legitimate competitors. They also advocated for new government roles and regulations, and new agencies to carry out those roles, such as the FDA. The Progressive Era played a pivotal role in US history.Explanation:

Which of these BEST describes the political structure of Ancient Egypt?

Answers

Answer:

Theocractic Monarchy, so basically theocracy.

Explanation:

The government of ancient Egypt was a theocratic monarchy as the king ruled by a mandate from the gods, initially was seen as an intermediary between human beings and the divine, and was supposed to represent the gods' will through the laws passed and policies approved. A central government in Egypt is evident by c. 3150 BCE when King Narmer unified the country, but some form of government existed prior to this date. The Scorpion Kings of the Predynastic Period in Egypt (c. 6000-3150 BCE) obviously had a form of monarchial government, but exactly how it operated is not known.

Egyptologists of the 19th century CE divided the country's history into periods in order to clarify and manage their field of study. Periods in which there was a strong central government are called 'kingdoms' while those in which there was disunity or no central government are called 'intermediate periods.' In examining Egyptian history one needs to understand that these are modern designations; the ancient Egyptians did not recognize any demarcations between time periods by these terms. Scribes of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt (c. 2040-1782 BCE) might look back on the time of the First Intermediate Period (2181-2040 BCE) as a "time of woe" but the period had no official name.

EGYPT'S FORM OF GOVERNMENT LASTED, WITH LITTLE MODIFICATION, FROM C. 3150 BCE TO 30 BCE.

The way in which the government worked changed slightly over the centuries, but the basic pattern was set in the First Dynasty of Egypt (c. 3150 - c. 2890 BCE). The king ruled over the country with a vizier as second-in-command, government officials, scribes, regional governors (known as nomarchs), mayors of the town, and, following the Second Intermediate Period (c. 1782 - c.1570 BCE), a police force. From his palace at the capital, the king would make his pronouncements, decree laws, and commission building projects, and his word would then be implemented by the bureaucracy which became necessary to administer rule in the country. Egypt's form of government lasted, with little modification, from c. 3150 BCE to 30 BCE when the country was annexed by Rome.
