How can Eleanor Roosevelt be an ideal sources of inspiration for nepalese women?

Answers

Nepal is country which struggles with political power freedom amongst the Nepalese people. It is an underdeveloped country which is ruled by careless governments, who are obviously mostly men. The Nepali governments, till this date, do not do anything to help Nepal itself which is the reason why Nepali people have the lack of power to demand for change.
The governments just don’t listen!

Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of President Franklin Roosevelt, inspired many by supporting the civil rights movement and making herself a powerful political leader, not relying approval from others to be called that. She is a clear and fantastic example of “if you give a woman a chance, she will overcome many obstacles to prove themselves right”.

(As a Nepali girl myself, who now lives abroad as my dad is in the army, I know the struggles that my people face out there in Nepal as women)

The lack of women leaders in Nepal makes it vulnerable to accept that “men are powerful than women and they should bow down to men” - which I do not believe in. Eleanor can inspire Nepali women by proving to them that women are as powerful as men, or can be even more powerful than men, and they do not need to seek approval from anyone to play their empowering role to change society’s beliefs of them or anyone.

As women, we are told what to do, how to behave, but Nepali women can break those boundaries and expectations that others want them to follow. Nepali women should come together to create an empowering society, where we are not ruled by specific genders, but by a powerful society where everyone is equal and has justice. This is what Eleanor believed in - she was an activist to show that social and political change is possible. One of Eleanor’s quote “You must do the thing you think you cannot do” shows that there is a possibility to shift people’s perspective of boundaries by forcing them to think and do the ‘impossible’, which is actually possible once you prove it to yourself. She can inspire Nepalese women by proving to them, you can make efforts to change society and political beliefs no matter what!

Extra info:
Every month a women has her period in Nepal, she is expected to stay away from her family. We don’t follow that tradition abroad anymore, however it is still practiced in small villages in Nepal. She is considered ‘impure’ and cannot do any normal basic tasks - she doesn’t have freedom! For that time, we are expected to live in a small, cramped place where living conditions are unsafe and unsanitary. Therefore, I believe that if more Nepali women become more like Eleanor, Nepali stereotypes about women would be banished, like I believe it should be!

Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest, it affects how you feel.

Stress, either physiological, biological,  is an organism's response to a stressor such as an environmental condition.

Answer:

The answer is

Stress is not a mental health condition. It tends to have an obvious trigger, like a move, divorce, or illness. Stress typically resolves as life events change. However, stress can lead to mental health problems like anxiety and depression if it persists over long periods without relief.

Depression is a mental health condition that requires a medical diagnosis. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, an estimated 17.3 million American adults experienced at least one major depressive episode in 2017. While stress is related to life events, depression can happen even if everything in life seems fine – and it can last for years.

Does air occupy space? write your reason.

Answers

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Air is all around us, and the air is a gas. As the air enters the balloon from your lungs, the air (which is a gas) takes up space in the balloon. The balloon expands because the air inside needs to take up more space. So that is how you can see that air takes up space.

Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. So, in order to prove that air is matter, we need to prove that air has mass and takes up space. Although the air has mass, a small volume of air, such as the air in the balloons, doesn't have too much. Air just isn't very dense.

Air takes up space because it is made of particles. The air in our atmosphere is made of mostly nitrogen and oxygen. Since it has mass, or stuff, it also has volume. The density, or thickness, of air changes the farther away you get from Earth.

A map is a symbolic representation of selected characteristics of a place, usually drawn on a flat surface. Maps present information about the world in a simple, visual way. They teach about the world by showing sizes and shapes of countries, locations of features, and distances between places. Maps can show distributions of things over Earth, such as settlement patterns. They can show exact locations of houses and streets in a city neighborhood.

Mapmakers, called cartographers, create maps for many different purposes. Vacationers use road maps to plot routes for their trips. Meteorologists—scientists who study weather—use weather maps to prepare forecasts. City planners decide where to put hospitals and parks with the help of maps that show land features and how the land is currently being used.

Some common features of maps include scale, symbols, and grids.

Scale

All maps are scale models of reality. A map’s scale indicates the relationship between the distances on the map and the actual distances on Earth. This relationship can be expressed by a graphic scale, a verbal scale, or a representative fraction.

The most common type of graphic scale looks like a ruler. Also called a bar scale, it is simply a horizontal line marked off in miles, kilometers, or some other unit measuring distance.

The verbal scale is a sentence that relates distance on the map to distance on Earth. For example, a verbal scale might say, “one centimeter represents one kilometer” or “one inch represents eight miles.”

The representative fraction does not have specific units. It is shown as a fraction or ratio—for example, 1/1,000,000 or 1:1,000,000. This means that any given unit of measure on the map is equal to one million of that unit on Earth. So, 1 centimeter on the map represents 1,000,000 centimeters on Earth, or 10 kilometers. One inch on the map represents 1,000,000 inches on Earth, or a little less than 16 miles.

The size of the area covered helps determine the scale of a map. A map that shows an area in great detail, such as a street map of a neighborhood, is called a large-scale map because objects on the map are relatively large. A map of a larger area, such as a continent or the world, is called a small-scale map because objects on the map are relatively small.

Today, maps are often computerized. Many computerized maps allow the viewer to zoom in and out, changing the scale of the map. A person may begin by looking at the map of an entire city that only shows major roads and then zoom in so that every street in a neighborhood is visible.

Symbols

Cartographers use symbols to represent geographic features. For example, black dots represent cities, circled stars represent capital cities, and different sorts of lines represent boundaries, roads, highways, and rivers. Colors are often used as symbols. Green is often used for forests, tan for deserts, and blue for water. A map usually has a legend, or key, that gives the scale of the map and explains what the various symbols represent.

Some maps show relief, or changes in elevation. A common way to show relief is contour lines, also called topographic lines. These are lines that connect points that have equal elevation. If a map shows a large enough area, contour lines form circles.

A group of contour line circles inside one another indicates a change in elevation. As elevation increases, these contour line circles indicate a hill. As elevation decreases, contour line circles indicate a depression in the earth, such as a basin.

Grids

Many maps include a grid pattern, or a series of crossing lines that create squares or rectangles. The grid helps people locate places on the map. On small-scale maps, the grid is often made up of latitude and longitude lines. Latitude lines run east-west around the globe, parallel to the Equator, an imaginary line that circles the middle of the Earth. Longitude lines run north-south, from pole to pole. Latitude and longitude lines are numbered. The intersection of latitude and longitude lines, called coordinates, identify the exact location of a place.

On maps showing greater detail, the grid is often given numbers and letters. The boxes made by the grid may be called A, B, C, and so on across the top of the map, and 1, 2, 3, and so on across the left side. In the map’s index, a park’s location might be given as B4. The user finds the park by looking in the box where column B and row 4 cross.

this decision is likely to be true?
The decision is irresponsible because choosing a vacation over a much needed new automobile is an improper use of

The decision must have been made by accident and is therefore irresponsible.
The decision is responsible because it reflects the family's preference for vacations over new automobiles.
The decision is responsible because a vacation must be taken during a specific season, but a car can be purchased

Answers

Answer:

A. The decision is irresponsible because choosing a vacation over a much needed new automobile is an improper use of  scarce resources.

Explanation:

Think about it, the questions specifically states that a family decides to go on a vacation instead of buying a "much needed new automobile". The decision to go on a vacation is outright irresponsible, as a new car would be much more useful of their time and money, rather than a vacation. You can go on a vacation only around a season a year, however you can buy a car anytime as long as you have enough money.
