this is more of a personal question for people who have been in a musical or play before, what did you do when wanting to audition for a musical but too scared, because of anxiety, to and how did you get over your anxiety?

Answers

Answer:

-Become familiar with the stage if possible . Its a lot less intimidating when the lights aren't all on you.

-Focus on what your character is thinking and feeling rather than the audience . The stage lights will help with this too, but it is a lot easier to panic and overthink when you remember them.

-Its ok to be afraid. Theres been so many times that myself and others will look calm on stage, only to quietly freak out once they get back stage . After my first play I had cried in the greenroom due to stress, but I'd never trade the experience of doing those plays.

-Never ever practice your lines or audition out of order. When you panic youll be more likely to mess up. Breaking it up into scenes is fine, if you get into the play, but for the audition always do it from beginning to end.

-Know that the people watching are just that, people. Its freaky to think someone could find fault in anything you do, but at the end of the day theyll only remember it if its good.

-Think about how worthwhile the experience will be. Knowing "why" is just as important as knowing "how", especially when you need that extra motivation

If you have any other questions feel free to message me. I had done theater all four years of high school, total of 5 plays and 1 musical, and one college class afterwards. Good luck, deep breaths, I know youll do great!

Explain what supporters of intelligent design believe. How do the beliefs of scientists differ?

Answers

Answer:

Supporters of intelligent design believe that the universe is too complex to be explained by the concept of evolution and that room should be made for supernatural explanations of human origin and so they use myths as a way to explain human origin. The belief of scientists differs in that they believe that myths are just that, myths.

Supporters of intelligent design believe that life on Earth is too complex to have arisen solely through natural selection and evolution, and that an intelligent designer must have played a role in its creation.

How do the beliefs of scientists differ?

They argue that certain features of living organisms, such as the complexity of the cell or the irreducible complexity of certain biological systems, cannot be explained by random mutations and natural selection alone.

In contrast, scientists who study evolution and biology generally reject the idea of intelligent design. They argue that there is overwhelming evidence that natural selection and evolution are the driving forces behind the diversity of life on Earth.

While they acknowledge that there are still gaps in our understanding of some biological processes, they believe that these gaps will be filled through continued scientific inquiry and research, rather than through invoking the concept of an intelligent designer.

Overall, the debate between supporters of intelligent design and scientists is often framed as a conflict between faith and science, with proponents of intelligent design advocating for a religious explanation of the origins of life, and scientists seeking to understand the natural processes that have shaped the world around us.

What is the subjective ethical ideal, and how does it apply to interpersonal communication?

Why is the subjective ethical ideal preferable to the objective ethical ideal in interpersonal relationships (i.e., spouses, siblings, friends, parent and child, employer and employee, teacher, and student)?

How do you think this style of communication might impact those relationships?

Answers

Answer:

Subjective Ethics refers to a view that there are no absolute or constant standards of right and wrong

Explanation:

I personally think that that view point could be hazardous.

Answer:

Here is a great summary to answer your questions.

Explanation:

What is the objective ethical ideal, and how does it apply to interpersonal communication?

Imagine a situation in which a friend asks you if you like her new haircut. Instead of telling her the cut is unflattering, you respond, “Wow, it’s so short!” No one ever said that telling the truth all the time was easy, but is it ethical to omit part of the truth to spare someone’s feelings? While this question must be answered individually, if the answer is yes, a subjective ethical ideal is upheld where the answer is not always right or wrong but perhaps somewhere in between and influenced by a person’s beliefs and morals. If the answer is no, an objective ethical ideal is upheld where the answer is always right or wrong and never influenced by personal considerations. Inevitably, ethical dilemmas will arise at work, home, and school. However, understanding the difference between ethical and unethical communication will allow you to make informed decisions about how to manage each situation.

Subjective ethical ideal:

This is the ideal that objective is too rigid or too confining and that all elements of the context need to be considered, such as personal values, beliefs, ideals, norms, expectations, feelings, and so forth.

Objective ethical ideal:

This is the ideal that the right or wrong of a situation is absolute and should not be influenced by personal morals, values, beliefs, and so forth. Because both people and contexts are always changing, it is often difficult to uphold an objective ethical ideal.

Why is the objective ethical ideal preferable to the subjective ethical ideal in interpersonal relationships (i.e., spouses, siblings, friends, parent and child, employer and employee, teacher and student)?

The objective ethical ideal is the ideal that the right or wrong of a situation is absolute and should not be influenced by personal morals, values, beliefs, and so forth. Because both people and contexts are always changing, it is often difficult to uphold an objective ethical ideal.

The subjective ethical ideal is the ideal that objective is too rigid or too confining and that all elements of the context need to be considered, such as personal values, beliefs, ideals, norms, expectations, feelings, and so forth.

The objective ethical ideal is preferable over the subjective ethical ideal because with the subjective ethical ideal, you must consider all elements of the context, and that is not helpful, because lots of people have differing views in all of those areas. Also, because the subjective ethical ideal is the idea that you can stretch the objective to fit that specific scenario.

How do you think this style of communication might impact those relationships?

Communication can be the end result of action and behavior, and communication can influence a person’s actions and behaviors. The most effective communicators understand that the process of communication creates a fluid exchange of ideas, enabling interpersonal communication to be used productively at work, at home, and in the ever-changing, interactive world.

Keywords and phrases:

Communication, ethical communication, subjective ethical ideal, objective ethical ideal, interpersonal communication.
