Third Person Omniscient: A “narrator” narrates the story, using “he”, “she”, and “they” pronouns. This “narrator” knows everything, including but not limited to events before and after the story and all the feelings, emotions, and opinions of every character, whether the characters express them or not.

When you read a book, the writing can have a kind of personality. You get a feeling for who the writer is and what he or she might be like to talk to in person. What's your writing voice?
Take a few minutes to write a journal entry about the unspoken laws, rules, and codes that you have in your life. What "rules" determine how your friends interact? Are there any "laws" that you have within your family? Pick one of these rules and write a quick story related to it. Think about writing in a voice that captures the way you might speak to a friend.
Your response should be at least 150 words in length.

What is the purpose of literary analysis?
to suggest and support an interpretation of literature
to summarize a work of literature in great detail
to evaluate how well a work of literature is written
to suggest how a work of literature should be revised
Answer:
to suggest and support an interpretation of literature
Explanation:
to suggest and support an interpretation of literature – this is the correct answer. The literal analysis is careful reading and interpretation of the written piece. The analysis should examine carefully characters, settings, atmosphere, imagery, and plot. The full and scientific analysis should explore the meaning and the ideas behind the written piece, and use the literary theory that fits the work.
to summarize a work of literature in great detail – this is not the correct answer. Literary analysis is not just a summary of the piece.
to evaluate how well a work of literature is written – this is not the right answer. The analysis doesn’t grade up the quality of the piece.
to suggest how a work of literature should be revised – this is not the correct answer. Review or edit are the ones that suggest the revisions.

Write a detailed paragraph that explains the use of narrative voices in "The Way to Wealth"; include various methods of
presentation from that time period.
Answer:
now this is just, lazy, i feel you! here you go.
Explanation:
The reason why there are narrative voices in both of these texts is because if many people say it, many author wrote. then people will likely follow it since that must be the things that the narrators have done to achieve success. It also gets the author point across better if there are several people saying it rather than him alone.
Answer:
In the poem titled "The Way to Wealth," written by Benjamin Franklin, he makes the clever use of two narrative voices rather than simply just one. On the part of Franklin, this decision was very intelligent because it allowed him to further get his message across to the readers as well as more thoroughly convince them by using the voices of the narrators. These two narrative voices function as two different people whom have differing opinions; however, in the poem, they are both still advocating for Benjamin Franklin's method of becoming successful and wealthy through claiming that Franklin's method had worked for them as well. By having two narrative voices rather than one, it helps to reinforce the idea that Benjamin Franklin's ideas actually work because there are two voices to confirm this rather than just one, which would be less reliable. It is especially important to note that these two narrative voices were written to have different opinions and ideals, which would not only appeal to a larger audience but also show how the point that Benjamin Franklin is trying to make is effective and useful to many different people, not just to one group of people who believe the same thing. Benjamin Franklin made an excellent and smart choice to include two narrative voices; if the poem was shown to have more than just one person that the plan to becoming successful and wealthy worked for, then it creates the illusion that the method works more efficiently, effectively, and accurately.

What came out of the door, the lady or the tiger? Create a resolution to Stockton’s story, since he deliberately left out that element of story structure. In an essay of 300 words or more, answer the question that comprises the last sentence of this short story, drawing upon your understanding of the story’s structure, the princess’s complex character, and of human nature in general. Does the structure of the story suggest one outcome more than the other? Be sure to note how Stockton’s use of language, particularly figurative language, helped to develop your understanding of the princess’s character and the society in which she lives. Use textual evidence to support your views.
Answer:
this should help
Explanation:
The author of "The Lady or the Tiger?" never reveals what is behind the door. The princess indicates that her lover should choose the door on the right, however, we know that the princess—like her father—has a “barbaric” streak. Furthermore, we know that she hates the lady behind the door and is sick at the thought of her lover being married to her. Ultimately, it is left up to the reader to decide what they think emerged from the door—a lady or a tiger?Stockton, the author of the work, deliberately did not give us the "right" answer to this question. Given that, we can guess and surmise and speculate; however, the answer is still, ultimately, a matter of opinion.Think about this people. The story explains about her barbaric nature like her father’s. We are also told that her lover “knows” her true nature. If these things are true, the princess would have directed him to the door with the tiger, but her lover would have known that. Consequently, he would have chosen the door she did not indicate, and he and the beautiful girl would live happily ever after. With all due respect, I think #3 needs to look at the quoted section of text more closely. " How in her grievous reveries had she gnashed her teeth, and torn her hair, when she saw his start of rapturous delight as he opened the door of the lady!" The princess did not want him to find happiness with anyone else. She had a barbaric nature, and she knew that the beautiful young woman had cast glances upon her lover, and she had perceived those glances to be returned. This would not been taken lightly, and it is safe to say it would probably not be forgiven. In addition, let us not forget the "savage blood" that coursed through her and the "barbaric" ancestry she came from, and the fact that she hated the woman behind the door. It would seem that due to her barbaric nature she would have not wanted her lover to find happiness with another woman, and so we could assume she guided him to the door with the tiger.
Now with all that being said, we are told also that her lover ". . . understood her nature. . .", so if that is true then perhaps he would know she might not want any other woman to have him, and he would choose the door opposite the one she directed him to. So if the lady came out, perhaps it was because he outwitted his barabic lover.
According to the given details from the The Lady or the Tiger by Frank Stockton, we can see that there is a relationship between the princess with a mean streak, her lover and the lady behind the door.
As a result of this, we see the events which occured between the savagely jealous princess and her lover when he was confused on the door to enter.
One of the doors contained a lovely lady which the princess did not like and was jealous of, the other contained a tiger, and the princess knew the content of both doors.
Therefore, we can come to the conclusion that the princess would most likely direct her lover to the door that contained the tiger because she was jealous and had a mean streak where she did not want to share.
