Can someone please write me a decently long speech on slavery?

Answers

Hello. I meet with you here today to discuss a form of ever changing evil. One that does not perish, but simply changes form. That of which I am discussing is slavery. If it is not the imprisonment of innocence, then it is the labored imprisonment of innocence's, that contains its evil.

Long before America settled in the land of North America, slavery was established in other countries, but should that make it right? Should that be what slave owners tell themselves, as they wake, to make up for this treachery? I think not.

Advocates like myself, have implored to country to understand this issue. You may recognize, Abraham Lincoln, who valiantly stated, "Slavery is  founded of the selfishness of man's nature; opposition to it's love of justice."

Now, Livelihood's are founded in slave-holding, because we did not stop slavery in its wake. We allowed it to fill our country, and our country suffers for it! These children, our children! Colored or not colored, enslaved or not enslaved will be in shackled, until we return ourselves, to peace.

Mothers, Fathers, save the next generation, for hope, for freedom, for America's beauty, that shall ever be stained by this patch of history, but shall be beautified once more by our future!

Thank you, Thank you!

how did the first world war encourage ratification of the nineteenth amendment

Answers

The Nineteenth Amendment gave women the right to vote, which was encouraged by their participation in helping during World War I.

Explanation:

During World War I, many women were involved and helping on the home front. When the war ended, many women and even men, recognized that women should have the right to vote.

Women did many things to help during World War I. One of these things was planting Victory Gardens. Not only did Victory Gardens help boost morale, but they also helped prevent food shortages, which was a huge worry during this time. These Victory Gardens assured that the men in the war and the people back home had enough food to survive.

Another way that women helped during World War I was by working in factories. Since most of the men were fighting in the war, this meant that there were many factory jobs open. Many of the factories were now producing war goods, like weapons, vehicles, and medical supplies, the women took up these offers. Women were building bombers and tanks, which greatly helped those on the war front.

Women also helped during World War I by becoming nurses both on the home front and on the battlefield. During this time in history, many women were raised with the basic knowledge of nursing. This greatly helped during the war, as many men needed emergency care on the battlefield. Women would perform gruesome acts, such as amputation, in order to save the lives of soldiers.

After World War I, many women argued they should have the right to vote in their country. They had helped so much during World War I and felt it was unfair that they were not being looked at as equal. This helped encourage the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

Tac----Gaa---ccg----gac-----atc / TAC---GAA---CCC---GGA---CAT what type of mutation is this Select the correct texts in the passage.Marie is writing a research paper arguing against the enforcement of mandatory school uniforms. She found this source. Which two statements would best support her claim? The Debate over School UniformsSupporters of school uniforms assert that when students wear uniforms, their attendance improves. They claim that students who wear uniforms have more school spirit, which encourages students to attend school more often. In Irving, Texas, schools have been able to improve average daily attendance through a strict uniform policy. Though students do not wear official uniforms, they wear white shirts, khaki pants, and leather shoes that must meet certain uniform requirements. However, in nearby Euless, Texas, no uniforms are required, and yet students have higher average daily attendance rates than at the charter school in Irving. This fact seems to demonstrate that higher attendance rates have little to do with uniforms. A school in Polk County, Florida, has the most restrictive uniform policy in the nation. It was enacted in 1999, and since then, the school has found that its average daily attendance has fallen dramatically. In 2000, the school broke a national scholastic absentee record for the same school year. These results show that uniforms have no effect on attendance. In fact, they provide evidence to the contrary: strict uniform policies have a negative effect on attendance. Moreover, the enforcement of uniform policies consumes resources in terms of time and manpower. Teachers and administrators must constantly be on the alert for students who do not maintain the policy. Also, students who come into violation of the policy must be disciplined, which causes stress and additional work that might take up time they could otherwise spend studying. One of the most extreme cases of uniform policy violations occurred at the school in Polk County in 1999. An assistant principal reprimanded a student for wearing pants with a 4 percent spandex weave because spandex pants were not permitted by uniform policy. Events like this are common. In Polk County, parents and teachers once worked together for the best of their students. Now, there is a rift between the two groups over the uniform issue.
