name the three types of economic indicators and explain what they indicate.

Answers

Answer:

Leading,Lagging,Coincident

Explanation:

Coincident indicators occur during the trend. The number of employees added or subtracted each month is the most influential coincident indicator.

Lagging indicators occur after the trend. They either confirm or refute the trend predicted by leading indicators. For example, the unemployment rate typically rises after a recession has ended. There's a good reason for that. Even when growth improves, employers are hesitant to hire full-time workers again. They wait to see if they can count on the growth continuing.

Leading economic indicators are statistics that precede economic events. They predict the next phase of the business cycle. That becomes especially critical when the economy is either coming out of a recession or heading into one.

What are FIVE key details about the destruction and after effects of the little boy and fat man bombings?

Answers

Answer:

• Loss of life

The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki led to an estimated loss of life of between 129,000 and 226,000 people. Even though there were some soldiers killed in the two cities, most of this figure was of civilians.

• Infrastructure damage

The cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima suffered such Infrastructural damage that significant portions of the cities were levelled by the bombings such that industrial production was not possible many years later.

• Radiation poisoning.

The number I quoted above as the number of people who died was not only from the actual bombing. It is estimated that about half of that number was as a result of radiation poisoning from the effects of the atomic bomb.

• Cancer increase

Subsequent research into the effects of the bombings showed that cancer increased in the survivors of the bombings as a result of being exposed to the radiation from the atomic bombs.

• Surrender

The bombs we're so devastating that the Japanese government was forced into surrendering to the U.S. in order to avoid more bombs being dropped thereby ending the most destructive human conflict in history, the second world war.

Write a complete paragraph (no fewer than five sentences) discussing how the three major post-
war conferences helped set the stage for the Cold War.

Answers

First of all before i even answer, NEVER click on links that says "Click here to see the answer" BECAUSE IT IS A VIRUS OR MALWARE!

Answer:

3 Major post-war conferences were the Yalta, Tehran, and Potsdam Conferences.

Oversimplification of the Conferences:

Here is just the oversimplification of the Conferences since doing any sort of an essay is time consuming and takes effort. Lets start with:

1) The Yalta Conference

The Yalta conference did a few things that set the stages of the Cold war. It first created 4 occupations zones of Austria and Germany. The Soviets would receive East Germany and the Allies would receive Frankfurt, Kiel, Munich, and Hamburg (Pretty much just split east and west). Yalta answered some questions about Germany however the next conference would answer the rest.

2) The Potsdam Conference \ Agreement.

The Potsdam Conference went over the small details that weren't mentioned in the Yalta Conference. First of all, it discussed the military and regional government issues of Germany as well as promoting ideologies. All production of Military equipment would be banned. All soldiers of the military would be sent home, Generals and officials would be tried for in Democratic German courts. Finally, The issue of Borders would be solved in this conference. More specifically, the occupied German and Soviet occupied Polish borders.

3) The Tehran Conference

The Tehran Conference was not an agreement sort of thing held at the end of the World War, but it was held during the war in Soviet influenced Tehran  to discuss strategies and War plans to deal with the German invasion in the the Soviet Union. The conference also dealt with deciding some post-war borders as well as discussing an offensive. They also dealt with the Polish Question but that's a whole other topic and it this post would be too large if i talked about it.

Yo what extent should government provide Universal Basic Income to adults/families?

Answers

Answer:

Universal Basic Income (UBI) has come up recently as a talking point, as many large manufacturing businesses are moving away from the usage of humans to using automated machines, which require less (such as wages, work hours, work conditions, etc.) for more (output and production). As these jobs are being relegated away to machines, there would be a smaller quantity of jobs in the market, almost ensuring that many people would be out of jobs or even competitive businesses, for those who cannot afford to make the change. UBI was created in a sense to solve this problem, as it provides just enough money to each family for them to be able to survive, and if there are no open jobs, to live at least comfortably.

The extent that the government should provide the UBI entirely depends on the businesses, and also the government itself. Firstly, businesses can choose whether or not they would relegate their human jobs to robots. These companies may receive backlash from the general public, especially when job proportions dip heavily lower then the population size. However, they would be able to manufacture more, higher-quality, and essentially make more profit off of the machines. The second part of the UBI is the government itself. The UBI is rather taxing on the government's budget, for it must be proportionalized by not only the intake of funding, but also the regulation of the funding to certain spending areas. A higher percentile of people relying heavily on the UBI would force the government in many cases to drop amount of benefits, as the funding may not be there.

In essence, the best way for the government to provide Universal Basic Income is too, in fact, not provide it at all. The government must be able to balance automated jobs with jobs that can be done with humans, while relegating enough funds to companies to allow them to make enough of a profit to keep their production factories within the United States. Essentially, Politics would play a heavy role in regulating the rise of the machines, as other countries may be forced into keeping their traditional jobs instead of creating automated jobs, or even have their jobs taken away that were before provided by US companies in an effort to give the US citizens enough job openings. However, in a real life scenario, this is not ideal, and in the waning age of the usage of humans, the failure to create a functioning system in hopes to help the ordinary citizen to survive would be ever pressing indeed. If ever the government should provide Universal Basic Income, they will have to work closely with companies residing in the US, and to balance the industrial rights of the companies to expand and technologically advance, with the rights of the citizens and their right to survive.

Describe the progressive era in 5 sentences

Answers

Answer:

The Progressive Era (1896–1916) was a period of widespread social activism and political reform across the United States of America that spanned the 1890s to the 1920s.[1] Progressive reformers were typically middle-class society women or Christian ministers. The main objectives of the Progressive movement were addressing problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and political corruption. Social reformers were primarily middle-class citizens who targeted political machines and their bosses. By taking down these corrupt representatives in office, a further means of direct democracy would be established. They also sought regulation of monopolies (trustbusting) and corporations through antitrust laws, which were seen as a way to promote equal competition for the advantage of legitimate competitors. They also advocated for new government roles and regulations, and new agencies to carry out those roles, such as the FDA. The Progressive Era played a pivotal role in US history.Explanation:

It's inevitable. There are so many decisions to be made in any given day, week, month, or year. It's an inhuman task to make all of these decisions correctly. Who would even want to try for perfection? We shouldn't worry too much, though, because it is precisely our mistakes that teach our children the most about life. Life is full of mistakes, obstacles, and trouble. Shielding our children from these by striving for perfection in our own parenting does them no favors.Given this, a parent might be tempted to give up trying to make good decisions and simply let the chips fall where they may. Admittedly, that attitude is not without its benefits, but it goes too far in the other direction. Children are much more observant than we think, but often draw the wrong conclusions from what they observe. If we give up trying to make the right decisions, they might get the message that we don't care about their future. We can take comfort in this much: we teach our children even when we're not trying to. That doesn't mean we should stop trying to do our best, to make the right decisions whenever possible. It just means that we shouldn't beat ourselves up when we make mistakes. Either it won't matter because it's something small, or it just might build some character in our children, a commodity that will serve them well.Which of these sentences from the passage most directly expresses the counterclaim? "We can take comfort in this much: we teach our children even when we're not trying to."
