How do you believe taxes affect government economic policy today? What types of reforms would you like to see in taxes? Should taxes be lowered overall? Should some groups be paying more than they are now? How would the changes you recommend affect the economy and the ability of the government to carry out its functions?

Answers

Answer 1

In today's world, I believe taxes have a tremendous impact on government economic policy. The issue of taxes seems to be one of the top concerns in voters' minds, along with their main gripes. Whether the tax is a revenue or spending measure, voters are generally happy when taxes are reduced and upset when they are increased. This attitude inevitably affects the government's economic policy. I believe one of the reforms in taxes that are needed is to reduce the amount of tax breaks for people with really high incomes. Using taxes on the rich as a means of redistribution, we could benefit everyone if that income was taxed fairly. Taxes should not be reduced altogether but reassessed so that richer people pay more. Taxes on the wealthy would make it easier for government to fulfill its responsibilities, as it would reduce the ability of the citizens to interfere with the government. It would also provide more resources for government to carry out its tasks.

how did the inca try to survive? what did they do with their gold? were the spanish happy with what they received from the incas, or did the come back to peru? what happened to emperor atahualpa

Answers

Answer:

The Inca tried to be diplomatic with the Spanish and Atahualpa even offered a ransom for his own life. The Spanish were not satisfied with just the ransom of gold and silver and they killed Atahualpa and continued on to take control of all of the former Incan territory.

Explanation:

The Inca were a complex civilization at the time the Spanish arrived in the Americas with a system for storing agricultural yields and exacting taxes in the form of food and goods from other settlements. Pizarro first arrived with some men on the North Coast of Peru and returned to Spain with some samples of gold in the hopes of gathering a bigger expedition that would be financed by the King.  Pizarro returned and set off for the Incan city of Cajamarca to meet the leader at the time Atahualpa.

In the first encounters with the Conquistadores, the Inca elite tried to negotiate and conciliate with the Spaniards by being diplomatic at first.  Then the Spanish captured Atahualpa and held him prisoner and the emperor offered rooms full of silver and gold in exchange for his freedom. Unfortunately, the Spanish betrayed this arrangement and they had Atahualpa executed. The Spanish crown became the wealthiest power in the world by the late 1500s after the Conquest as countless quantities of silver and gold were extracted from the Americas.

The closest ones people know are: Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai and IIT’s which to some extent keep some practical component while institutions like JNU and certain courses in some Central Universities do not have that. I do not have a specific take on some emerging private institutions like Ashoka University, O P Jindal except for the fact that they are quite expensive. Some highly specialised institutions like IIPS, Mumbai or Centre for Developing Studies, Trivandrum offer very specialized courses at MPhil, PhD level. However, I am also hopeful that in the coming years there will be more demand for this discipline as many students I have observed are increasingly becoming interested in this field.

Answer:include the numbers from positive infinity to negative infinity. This includes rational, irrational, fractions, and whole numbers. In this case, we are given with an expression that we have to reduce to lowest terms: negative seven and one over two and +1. The first one is equal to -7.5 while the other one is equal to +1. Positive numbers lie on the right side of zero (center of the line) while negative numbers lie on the left on the other hand. -7.5 lies between -8 and -7 while +1 lies exactly between 0 and 2. Both of which are positive numbers.
