This is me in the boyfriend’s flat – or, I should say, the boyfriend’s former flat, as he is moving in with me.
I’m wearing a knitted jumper from Second Female and leggings from H&M. Unfortunately I can’t find the leggings in the online shop, but I just bought them, so they should be in stores now.
Soundtrack for this little iPhone mini-photoshoot: Ten Storey Lovesong, by The Stone Roses. The photos are actually just taken from the fith floor, but you know… Love soars x x x

There can be no dispute about the beauty of a leopard’s fur, and so it’s really no wonder that so many people have tried to imitate it. However, wearing animal prints means balancing the very easily upset scales between high fashion and sheer tackiness. I have no desire to bring forth associations to busty blondes showing off their orange tanned cleavages.
But paired with the right outfit, animal prints can look positively rad. I love the connotations of glam rock (check out my post on Ziggy Stardust).
Here are some runway photographs from the recent Copenhagen Fashion Week, where several leading designers used animal prints. Pictures by Copenhagen Fashion Week - you can find more here.
I think I’ve mentioned before that Baum und Pferdarten is one of my favourite Danish designers. Particularly the croc skin jacket above is devine! But really, their entire A/W 2012 is so strong.
Malene Birger, A/W 2012
For Malene Birger, animal prints seemed to be a common thread through much of her runway show.
I love the elegantly flowing snake print dress from Benedikte Utzon, S/S 2012.
The animal print wishlist:
Sass and Bide: Seems to be combining neon yellow with leopard print in this super cool T-shirt. Funny how two tacky things equals not tacky at all.
Stella McCartney: Printed python scarf. I have seen and touched this scarf. Soft as a feather. Deeply luxurious.
Very rock n’ roll skinny jeans from Current Elliott. They come in many different colours, though this is my favourite.
Michael Kors: It’s a zebra cashmere sweater. It really is. Michael Kors has gone all out with the animal print this season. You can get more or less anything from him in animal print.
And some leopard heels, also from Kors: Why not? To borrow a favourite expression from pro fashion blogger Style Bubble: They’re the tits.
